Air masses of subtropical origin will reach the Alps from south-west, longer sunny spells are forecast particularly for Tuesday. The temperatures will become early-summery warm. The settled weather, however, will soon withdraw, as the air masses will be mostly unstably layered. Towards Tuesday, a cold front will reach us from the west, subsequently cloudy conditions and scattered rain showers are forecast. Even thunderstorms may occur from Tuesday through Wednesday. The rain showers will result in fresher conditions. The ups and downs will continue on in the second half of the week, consequently longer sunny spells may occur from time to time.
