A very windy west to north-westerly current will continue to determine the weather over the Alpine regions throughout this week. Strong, thick clouds will mostly prevail and result in further, partly longer lasting precipitation. The sunny spells will be short. Larger amounts of new snow are forecast in the mountains. Rather wintry weather conditions are also expected in the valleys, as the snow line will sink below a level of 2000 meters on Wednesday. White Easter are forecast.
