The Alpine regions are located in front of a massive low-pressure vortex located over the Iberian Peninsula in a south-westerly air stream, which will bring warm late summery, but also unstably layered sub-tropical air masses from the Mediterranean regions. These conditions will result in generally friendly, but also slightly changeable and slightly unsettled weather. For the moment, the risk for showers, which will vary locally in the course of the day (even scattered thunderstorms may arise) will decrease, though towards the weekend it will increase again. This will be caused by an increasing influence of low-pressure, consequently somewhat cooler air masses will infiltrate our regions from the north-west on Monday. However, the weather current will turn again south-westward from Tuesday on.
