Walk to the Cervosa

Furgler

Information about the tour:
Difficulty: difficult
Time: 6 hours
Ascent altitude metres: 1039 m
Highest point: 3004 m

Route description:
From the middle station of the Komperdellbahn cable car, the route follows a short steep ascent north and then gradually rises along the hiking trail 702 up to the Furglersee lake.

From the Furglersee lake, you will continue west through the largely snowy Furglertal valley to the Furglerjoch (2748 m). From here, it’s on via the north ridge, deviating slightly in places before climbing gently up to the summit cross.

Hexenkopf

Information about the tour:
Difficulty: medium
Time: 8 hours
Ascent altitude metres: 700 m
Highest point: 3035 m

Route description:
The Hexenkopf is the fourth highest mountain in the Samnaun group. The route leads from the Lazidbahn mountain station west via a wide trail to the Scheid. From here, it leads along hiking trail 712 to the Arrezjoch (2785 m). And then via ascent no. 26 to the Masnerjoch (2685m).

From here, you will continue on via scree and later north-west to the east ridge and on to the pre-summit area. After crossing this region, you will descend to the north via a gully and dip down between the pre-summit and main summit area. From here, the route leads back up steeply to the summit cross.

Rotpleiskopf

Information about the tour:
Difficulty: difficult
Time: 7 hours
Ascent altitude metres: 970 m
Highest point: 2936

Route description:
From the middle station of the Komperdellbahn cable car, the route leads along hiking trail 702 to the turn-off for the Untere Glockhäuser. Continue along ascent no. 22 to the Urgjoch (2759m) and via Geröll and various areas of snow to the Kübelgrubenscharte.

A short stretch then leads down to the ascent from the Ascherhütte and this takes you up to the summit.

Gratwanderung “Ridge Walk”

Difficulty: medium
Time: 5 hours
Ascent altitude metres: 700 m
Highest point: 2685 m

Route description:
From the middle station of the Komperdellbahn cable car, follow the springs trail no. 20, turn off left on the somewhat steeper ascent no. 20b and then take ascent no. 20a up to the Vorderer Brunnenkopf (2685m). The route runs along via the Hinterer Sattelkopf to the Oberer Sattelkopf (2596m). Follow the ascent along route 11 to the Mittlerer Sattelkopf and on to ascent no. 8 to the Unterer Sattelkopf.

Return to the village via ascent no. 8 which takes you through the forest and along Bifangweg trail no. 4 to Serfaus.

Glockspitze

Information about the tour:
Difficulty: medium
Time: 6 hours
Ascent altitude metres: 600 m
Highest point: 2846 m

Route description:
This route runs from the mountain station of the Lazidbahn cable car and via a wide road to the Scheid. From here, it leads on via the Murmeltierweg 25a and via the Kitzköpfl to the Furglersee lake (2458m). Then follow ascent no. 24 past the beautiful Blankasee lakes and via the Glockscharte to the summit.

On the way back, we recommend taking trail no. 22 from the Blankasee lakes and walking via the Untere Glockhäuser to hiking trail no. 702 to the middle station of the Komperdellbahn cable car.

Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis Bike Park

The new bike park is the ideal training and practice area for enthusiastic mountain bikers and wannabe bikers in the top holiday region of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis The free practice course and kids’ park at the Waldbahn valley station offer the ideal training ground.

The trails are suited to beginners, families and hardy ‘downhill’ bikers and offer a wide range of descents to suit all requirements.

A bike shop offering bike and protective equipment hire as well as various biking courses and experienced guides provide a chance to sample this exciting world of mountain biking.

Regional golf courses in and around Serfaus

Golf Club Mieming

The Golf Park Mieminger Plateau is based around one hour from Serfaus. The unique mountain backdrop of Tyrol, lush green meadows and wonderfully clear air make this 27-hole golf course a truly special experience!

The 18-hole championship course is a total of 6,500 m long and offers plenty of golfing challenges for true professionals. The handicap for men and women is – 36. The 9-hole park course is ideal for beginners or those with a good handicap with less time: here you can play golf for a period of around 1.5 hours.

Golf Club Seefeld-Wildmoos

This golf club is also an hour away from Serfaus. The beautifully located 18-hole course is a member of Leading Golf Courses Austria and real highlight –every fairway is different and the landscape is a real dream!

The English architect Donald Harradine embedded the Golf Club Seefeld-Wildmoos in the 1,300 m Alpine region. The cosy and natural ambience make this the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed round of golf. This is the perfect place for anyone wanting to enjoy golf away from the crowds. The season runs from approx. start of May til the end of October.

Golf Club Bludenz-Braz

The Golf Club Bludenz-Braz is located approx. 1 hour 15 minutes away from Serfaus. The 18-hole course is nestled in the Klostertal valley and offers unrivalled views of the Arlberg. With its tricky greens and well laid-out doglegs, this golf course is fascinating for golfers of all handicaps. AAnd the 11th hole is worth looking forward to: from here, you can enjoy breath-taking views of the Klostertal valley! You can perfect your tee-off here in six covered and heated tee-off enclosures – regardless of the weather!

Golf Club Vulpera

The Swiss Vulpera club is just an hour away from Serfaus. The 9-hole golf club is one of the oldest golf courses in Switzerland and is surrounded by a magnificent Alpine landscape. The unrivalled views of the Engadine Dolomites make every tee-off a wonderful experience here.

Everyone can give golf a try on the driving range in summer too – the only pre-requisite is to have a lesson with a professional.

Tyrol’s largest Nordic walking network

The unique location, numerous hours of sunshine and total of 15 signposted Nordic walking toursmake Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis one of the best Nordic walking regions in the Alps.

With 154 Kilometer Nordic walking trails this is the most diverse offer of its kind in Tyrol. The terrain is easily accessible across the sunny plateau area.

Enjoy hiking of the highest quality and take the cable car up into the regions near the peaks. Some dreamy viewsawait here in addition to the tranquillity and exercise. The SUPER.SOMMER.CARD.offers free access to all seven cable cars on the plateau for Cervosa guests!

Nordic walking sticks can be hired free-of-charge from the hotel – and our fitness trainer Gabor offers guided Nordic walking tours twice a week.

Serfaus is the ideal place for model aircraft builders and pilots and the perfect place to chat about model planes.

The Serfauser Feld offers the ideal conditions for hillside or thermal flights and has been declared the best slope in the region on numerous occasions by renowned specialist publications.

Schönjöchl: the location of the Flying Circus is within easy reach by mountain railway. There are also special discounted tariffs for model aircraft enthusiasts and larger models can be transported free-of-charge.
